Frequently Asked Questions

What signature methods are supported?
Draw with a mouse, finger or pen, type your name in a handwriting style, or upload a picture of your signature (a PNG with a transparent background works best). Whichever you choose is trimmed to the signature itself and keeps its proportions.
Is this a legally binding signature?
Visual signatures apply an image of your signature. For legally binding cryptographic signatures (PKCS#7 / PAdES standard), use our Digital Signature tool.
Can I move or resize the signature after placing it?
Yes. Drag it to move it and pull a corner to resize it — it keeps its proportions. You can also use the Smaller and Larger buttons, type an exact position in millimetres, or nudge it with the arrow keys. Remove deletes a stamp, and Undo and Redo cover every change until you download.
Can I sign multiple pages?
Yes. Go to any page with the page arrows or the thumbnails and add your signature there, or select a stamp and choose "Copy to all pages" to put it in the same position on every page in one step.
Is my signature saved anywhere?
Your signature is kept only in this browser tab's session storage, so you can choose "Use saved signature" for your next document while the tab is open. It is never uploaded, "Forget" deletes it at once, and it is gone when you close the tab.
