Frequently Asked Questions
What image formats can I export to?
PNG, JPEG, WebP, and AVIF. JPEG, WebP and AVIF have a quality slider; PNG is lossless.
What DPI options are available?
72 DPI (screen), 150 DPI (print), 300 DPI (high quality), or 600 DPI (archival).
Can I export all pages at once?
Yes. Every converted page is listed with a preview and its own Download button. With 2 to 10 images, "Download all" saves them as separate files from one click, with "Download as ZIP" beside it. With more than 10, the ZIP is the main button.
Do I have to unzip anything?
No. One page downloads as the image itself, and several pages can be saved as separate image files. The ZIP is an option, not a requirement.
Why did only some of my images download?
A browser can ask before it lets a site save several files, and it can refuse. This page cannot see which files your browser kept, so if any are missing use "Download as ZIP" to get every image in one file, or the Download button on each image.
Can I save the images straight into a folder?
Where the browser supports folder access (Chrome and Edge on a computer), "Save to a folder…" writes every image into a folder you pick and reports how many were saved. Where the browser can share files, "Share or save images…" opens the system share sheet. Neither button is shown where the browser lacks the feature.
How are the images named?
After the PDF and the page each image came from, for example report-page-03.png for page 3 of a 12-page PDF. Converting pages 1, 3 and 5 gives page-1, page-3 and page-5, and the numbers are zero-padded so the files sort in page order.
Why is PNG output large?
PNG is lossless. For smaller files, use JPEG or WebP with a quality setting around 85–90%.
